A field of 51 ladies from Birchbank competed in the 24th annual Kay Buna Memorial Tournament on Sept. 15 & 16, 2012.  The net eclectic format of this tournament saw Brenda O'Donaughy leading with a net 64 after the first day.  On the second day of play each player used her best score of the two days on each hole to give her a "net eclectic score".  Winning top honours with a net 58 was Dana Haas.  Brenda O'Donaughy placed second overall with a net 61.  Flight winners were:  Flight 1 - Barb Secco, 63; Flight 2 - Sharon Noakes, 65; Flight 3 - Colleen DeRosa, 62; and Flight 4 - Eileen Holm, 62 (retro). Out of town guests at the dinner on Sept 16th were Kay's 6 children and 1 grandson.
